Veneers replace damaged or discolored enamel on front teeth and are similar to cosmetic crowns. They can be done for cosmetic reasons if for example the teeth are too small and need to be larger to fill available spaces or are discolored or pitted or the alignment or shape of the teeth needs to be corrected.

Benefits of Veneers

Veneers are a great option for improving the appearance of your smile. They are made from porcelain, which is a material that closely resembles the look and feel of natural teeth.  Veneers are bonded to the front of your teeth to create a more uniform and aesthetically pleasing look.

Veneers provide a number of benefits. The first benefit of veneers is that they provide a natural-looking solution for improving the appearance of your teeth. This makes them a great option for those who want to improve the aesthetics of their smile without having to resort to more invasive procedures. Another benefit of veneers is that they are relatively easy to maintain.

Unlike other dental procedures, veneers require minimal upkeep and can be easily cleaned with regular brushing and flossing. Veneers are also stain-resistant, so they won’t discolor or yellow over time. This makes them a great option for those who want to maintain a beautiful smile without having to take extra care of their teeth.

Types of Veneers

Our most aesthetic veneers are made of thin porcelain shells that are custom-made to fit over the front surfaces of your teeth. Veneers are designed to improve the shape, size, and color of your teeth, and can be used to correct gaps, chips, and discoloration.

We also offer composite veneers. These are made from a tooth-colored composite resin material that is applied directly to the surface of your teeth. Composite veneers are a great option for those who want to make minor changes to their teeth, such as closing gaps or providing a more even appearance. We will work with you to determine the best type of veneer to meet your needs.

How Veneers Are Applied

The process for applying veneers is simple and straightforward and usually requires only two visits to the dentist. The first step in the process is to prepare the teeth for the veneers. This involves removing a small amount of enamel from the front of the teeth in order to make room for the veneers. The dentist will then take an impression of your teeth and send it to a dental lab where the veneers will be custom-made.

During the second visit, Dr. Whicker will bond the veneers to your teeth and make any necessary adjustments. The entire process usually takes only two to three visits and is relatively painless. Veneers are an excellent option for those looking to improve the appearance of their smile. With the help of our skilled team, you can have a beautiful and natural-looking smile in no time.

Aftercare For Dental Veneers

Aftercare for veneers is important to ensure that your new smile lasts for a long time. To keep your veneers looking their best, it is important to practice good oral hygiene habits, such as brushing and flossing twice daily and visiting your dentist regularly for checkups and cleanings. It is also important to avoid biting down on hard objects, such as ice or hard candy, as this can damage the veneers.

Additionally, it is important to avoid using abrasive toothpaste, as this can scratch the surface of the veneers. If you grind your teeth at night, Dr. Whicker may recommend a night guard to protect your veneers. If you have any questions or concerns about caring for your veneers, we can provide you with more information.

What Our Amazing Patients Say

Benny Pezzano
Benny Pezzano

This is by far the most amazing and caring dentist experience you will ever have. I was seeking an alternative dentist because I, like most of us, was seeking a more holistic dentistry experience. Dr. Whicker and the team is absolutely on point. Kind, compassionate, professional and practical.

They are the best at informed consent- he will tell you exactly what he is doing and why he is doing it at any moment. I leave the office feeing taken care of and cared for instead of abused and taken advantage of. He even reaches out later in the day to check up on you makes sure everything is alright.

I will never go to another dentist. I could not recommend Dr. Whicker enough!! Thank you Wellness Centered!!

I visited Dr. Whicker for a tooth extraction and bone graft for a future implant placement. I am a Denturist (I fabricate and fit dentures). I see patients on a daily basis with fresh extractions and often times sutures. I was so impressed with Dr. Whicker! He was kind and courteous and very professional. He made sure that I was comfortable with each step of the procedure and talked to me and explained what he was doing throughout the process. The extraction site looks amazing and his sutures are impeccable. The staff were very friendly and the office is pristine. I will definitely be referring not only my friends and family, but my own patients to Dr. Whicker for dental treatments. I am so pleased!
